Pemberton Whitewater Week - June 2027

Course Description

Join us for five full days of whitewater paddling, coaching, and adventure in the beautiful Pemberton Valley! Based in the Pemberton Meadows at Green Water Resort, we’ll have rivers right on our doorstep, a private pond for practising skills, and a welcoming basecamp to return to each day. Pitch your own tent or stay in one of the resort’s boutique cabins, and enjoy a week of paddling, great food, and good company. All experience levels welcome, from complete beginners to Class 3 paddlers. Each day, we’ll split into smaller groups based on ability and goals, heading to different rivers and sections to find the right balance of challenge, learning, and fun. Whether you’re learning your first eddy turn or refining your technique on more challenging whitewater, instruction will be tailored to help you progress. Across the five days, we’ll combine plenty of river time with targeted skill sessions. Depending on your goals, these may include eddy turns, ferrying, rolling, boat control, basic swiftwater rescue, boat outfitting, and gear advice. Our plans will adapt to river conditions and the needs of each group. When we’re not on the water, we’ll share meals, swap river stories, and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of our basecamp. We’ll also have opportunities to explore the valley’s local food, farming community, and mountain-town culture. Five days of paddling, learning, and exploring, with a great crew of fellow paddlers.
